- Creating and saving a new document
- Drawing basics: shapes, lines, strokes, and fills
- Using selection, direct selection, and alignment tools
- Introduction to paths and anchor points
- Using the Pen Tool to draw custom shapes
- Modifying curves and angles
- Shape Builder and Pathfinder tools
- Creating simple icons or patterns
- Adding and styling text
- Converting text to outlines
- Using color swatches, gradients, and the Eyedropper tool
- Arranging and grouping elements
- Building a sticker or label design
- Organizing designs with layers
